Our favourite independent Calderdale businesses
Here are some of our favourite local businesses that we've bumped into on our travels. We love meeting all the other folk around here that are spending their time doing the things they love. Please come say hi if you spot us around!
We'll add to our list regularly, as we find people doing great things in our happy valley
Woody's Pizza Todmorden
We met Woody's Pizza at Todmorden Market. They made us an AMAZING pizza. We'll definitely be back for more.
I suspect this may become our Saturday treat after a long day serving coffee at the market.

Born Again Prints
These guys were our neighbours at Hebden Bridge Makers Market.
They are making very cool, screen printed sweatshirts on pre-loved jumpers, with eco friendly dye made locally.
We love what these guys are doing and I couldn't have had better company for my first day at the market.

Buckwell News
An unassuming looking news agent in Savile Park with a couple of very special fridges 🍻
The line up in the fridges changes regularly. Lots of local beers, and many from further afield. Well worth a visit on a Friday afternoon.
A great place to satisfy your craft beer needs!

Vocation Brewery
Vocation are awesome. We feel pretty lucky to have such a great brewery on the door step. Love this valley!
They've pubs in Hebden and Leeds, which are both great ways to spend an afternoon, but the star of the show here is the beer!
Pick some up in your local bottleshop, or get a delivery direct from the brewery up at Cragg Vale.

The Peacock
Super welcoming pub with a brand new outdoor seating area around the back!
Dog friendly (as all the pubs we go to are). They always have a couple of decent beers on, and the staff and locals always have time for a chat.
The perfect spot to stop for a quiet beer after a long day serving coffee.
